Overview
PAH! empowers communities to protect one another through real-time emergency alerts. StartxLabs designed and built a low-latency SOS mobile app that instantly alerts nearby emergency contacts and verified community sentinels with live GPS location tracking and emergency audio streaming.
The challenge
During personal safety emergencies or medical incidents, dialing phone numbers is often impossible, requiring a 1-tap silent emergency broadcast.
1-tap instant activation triggering emergency alerts without opening complex screens
Broadcasting high-precision live GPS location updates even in low-signal areas
Notifying designated emergency contacts, trusted neighbors, and nearby response units
SafeWalk feature allowing friends to monitor late-night walking journeys in real time
Our solution
We built an ultra-reliable emergency response mobile application with silent SOS triggers and live location streaming.
Designed 1-tap hold SOS button with accidental trigger prevention timer
Built real-time location streaming engine updating contacts every 3 seconds
Implemented SafeWalk companion feature with automated destination arrival check-ins
Added neighborhood alert feed for reporting local safety hazards and incidents
